Djokovic set for Australia three-peat , Federer feels very young.

Djokovic set for Australia three-peat

Novak Djokovic will begin his Australian Open campaign as the overwhelming favourite to complete a hat-trick of titles in Melbourne.
The world number one has won three of his five Grand Slam titles at Melbourne Park where the bounce and pace of the Plexicushion surface is perfectly suited to his game.
This time the draw has been kind to him as well. His two biggest rivals - Roger Federer and Andy Murray are in the same half - while the third, Rafael Nadal continues to be out of commission.
If the results follow the seedings, and they have largely done so in recent Grand Slams, Djokovic will meet David Ferrer in the semi-final while one of Federer or Murray will eliminate the other.
More than Ferrer though, it is the presence of Tomas Berdych on his side of the draw that might furrow Djokovic's brow a bit.
The Czech, who upset Federer in the quarter-finals of the US Open last year, is scheduled to meet Djokovic at the same stage in Melbourne. Part of the block of players that have been hovering on the fringes of Grand Slam glory just behind the top four for quite a while now, Berdych will again be a dangerous foe in Melbourne where he gave Nadal a big fright last year.

And he has every intention of doing so in the foreseeable future.
