Real suffered their only league defeat to in-city rivals Atletico at the end of September. A lone goal from Diego Costa did the damage, but they will be confident heading to Camp Nou, having picked up two wins and a draw in their last three league outings against Barca.
World-record signing Gareth Bale will be hoping to make an appearance on Saturday. The Welshman has recovered from the thigh injury that kept him out of action in recent weeks and will be looking to put his recent struggles behind him.
He has yet to endear himself to the Madrid faithful, but if he can impact this weekend’s match then he will be accepted with open arms.
